Golf Club Marketing: Total Market Coverage

A total market coverage, or TMC, product is a supplement to a newspaper (e.g., a direct mail piece) that is delivered free of charge to all households in a newspaper’s market or a specific portion or portions of the market in order to capture readers as customers and provide another outlet for advertisers.

Penny Saver is one example of a total market coverage paper. Advertising in these “free to the public” papers can be an inexpensive form of marketing. You always get what you pay for and anytime something is free it is perceived to have no value so most of these types of papers just get tossed in the trash.

The reason I do like this form of media is because it focuses on your preferred geographic target area. Some companies (e.g. MMC®) use of sophisticated software can be facilitated to even create an elementary profile of what houses you want to target and which ones you choose to eliminate.

This is just one more arrow for your golf club marketing quiver; especially for those of you on a limited budget.

MMC®, is a performance-based, data-driven golf marketing company that hits ‘em straight.

Thank you for partnering with MMC® in growing the game, your golf course and your golf career.
