Building Your Golfer Prospect Lists

This month, I want to talk to you about generating leads. Leads are prospective golfers. The way you acquire new golfers is through generating leads; engaging those prospective golfers and getting them interested and excited about becoming a golf member or calling your golf club their golfing home.

One of the things that you see on MMC®’s website, is a registration box ( to receive free golf marketing tips on growing your golf club, the game and your golf career.

This is an excellent way to start building your lead list. Your lists are the most valuable assets you have in business because these are lists of prospects or potential golf members for your golf club. You want to continually build this list at every opportunity possible.

One of the things you might want to do to help your golf marketing, is put a tab on your website, just like on MMC®’s website, for free monthly golf tips that your customers (golfers) can click on and be taken straight to the page for the tip of the month. This is a great tool for you to use to keep golfers interested in your golf club.

Another suggestion would be to put up a sign in the club house saying “register here for your free golf tip of the month on how to improve your game”. The goal is to build your list of prospects. Keep thinking outside the box; keep thinking about ways to continue to build your list and in turn, you will grow your golf club, the game and your golf career.
