Brand Auditing and Golf Course Marketing

Brand audits are super cool because it gives you an opportunity to learn about what it takes to create, build and maintain a quality brand. One of my most favorite things in the world to do, as far as business, is conducting research. The reason why I am such a big fan of research is because I get to learn so much from other people and other companies by simply looking at what they have done, what they are doing, what has not worked and what has worked for them.

It is amazing how much information you can acquire on the Internet. You can find out statistics from various businesses in numerous industries. You can create and implement your own brand audits on numerous companies. For example, get a list of the top one hundred companies and take what they are doing right and implement it into your own brand. I am not saying copy other people or plagiarize their information. I am saying take a look at what they are doing and see what you like about it, see how it can be applied to your own brand, see what you can take and learn from it and then apply it to your brand to increase the value of your brand.

You should also be doing a brand audit on your own brand and find out what is successful about your brand. Be sensitive to what people say about your brand, what people think about your brand, what is the first thing that comes to their mind when they think about your brand, etc.

Come up with as many questions about your brand as you possibly can, then try to come up with an answer to each one of them later. This process is going to give you the necessary information to build and develop your brand.

By exploring some elementary brand auditing techniques, you will be able to grow your golf course, the game, and your golf career.
